Lauren Behfarin Design is a residential design firm in Manhattan that specializes in creating happy, functional, and family-friendly spaces on any budget.
Born and raised in Manhattan, Lauren thrives on the energy the city emanates and sees style in its every corner. With a love for design, Lauren furthered her education at the New York School of Interior Design, after collage, while working at Drew McGukin Interiors and training under the principal.
Since starting her own firm in 2014, Lauren's work has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and Elle Decor. Her speciality lies in imaginative, calm, and functional kids rooms. Being a mother of three young children has made her an "expert" in the delicate and playful environments of kids, while also enhancing her knowledge of how families utilize their entire space.
Lauren started her career in Visual Merchandising and Store Design, in the corporate offices of Michael Kors USA Inc. She later transitioned to Alice + Oilvia where she helped to create their Visual Department.
Lauren Behfarin Design has been helping clients create their ideal spaces for over nine years and has no plans of slowing down!
Stacy is a native New Yorker who resides uptown with her husband and young daughter. She has many years of experience working with children both as a teacher and an educational consultant, with an emphasis on building client relationships.
Stacy has always had a passion for interior design and will bring her knowledge in the childhood sector with her as she works alongside Lauren and the many young clients of LBD!
